Laser cutting

We offer laser cutting services with a machinable format of up to 4100x2000 mm, allowing the production of parts of different sizes and shapes. We have the capacity to cut different materials of various thicknesses, such as stainless steel, carbon steel and aluminium up to 25 mm, galvanised steel up to 6 mm, copper up to 10 mm, and brass up to 10 mm.

With this wide range of materials and thicknesses, we can satisfy the needs of many different types of customers and applications.

Tube laser cutting

Our laser cutting process for tubes and pipes is an efficient solution for manufacturing tube-based metal parts and subassemblies. With a maximum length of 6500 mm and a maximum diameter of 254 mm, we can perform machining for a wide range of formats, including round and square tubes, U-shaped channels, and L-shaped angles.

We are also able to process various types of materials and thicknesses, including carbon steel up to 8 mm, stainless steel up to 6 mm, aluminum up to 5 mm, and galvanized steel up to 4 mm.

By bringing together efficiency, precision, and versatility in a single machine, we can offer tube laser cutting as an attractive solution, to optimize the fabrication process for tube-based metal parts and subassemblies.

Punching + laser cutting

Our combined punching and laser cutting service is a very versatile solution for fabricating metal parts and subassemblies, because in addition to the laser cutting, it adds machining to create a variety of punched elements such as countersinking, threading, extruding, channeling, deep drawing, rib forming, and addition of air couplers, micro-perforations, and pins, among others).

This makes the required processes faster and more efficient, reducing production times and improving the quality of the final products.

Using a machinable format of up to 3000x1500 mm, we can process a wide range of materials, including stainless steel up to a thickness of 8 mm, carbon steel up to a thickness of 8 mm, galvanized steel up to a thickness of 4 mm, and aluminum up to a thickness of 6 mm.

Bending

Our machinery currently includes 5 bending machines and 1 robotic bending machine, to provide versatility when fabricating metal parts and subassemblies.

With a maximum length of 4000 mm and a maximum pressing force of 230 metric tons, our bending machines are designed to quickly and precisely process materials of various thicknesses. In addition, the maximum aperture of 445 mm provides more flexibility when fabricating parts with different shapes and sizes.

Our combination of 5 conventional bending machines and 1 robotic bending machine increases efficiency during production, reducing cycle times and improving the quality of the final products.

At Gamelsa we currently have 3 specialized tube bending machines for fabricating metal tubes and pipes. These machines are able to

work with tubes with diameters up to Ø50 mm and lengths of up to 5 meters, which allows us to manufacture a wide range of metal parts and subassemblies with specific curves and shapes.

Welding

We have a highly qualified welding team, which is able to provide a wide range of services for a variety of materials, including steel, galvanized steel, stainless steel, and aluminum.

By combining various different welding techniques, including MIG/MAG, TIG, and spot welding, we have the capacity to provide high-quality, efficient welding solutions for a wide variety of applications. We also make our welding team’s experience and know-how available to our customers, to help them find innovative and customized solutions for each of their projects. At Gamelsa, our welding capabilities can add value to any of our production processes, while clearly demonstrating the commitment to excellence we apply to all of our projects.

Robotic welding

In addition to our conventional welding capabilities, Gamelsa has the resources to perform robotic welding processes for large and repetitive production runs.

Automating this process significantly increases efficiency and precision, which translates into faster and more cost-effective production. This allows us to offer profitable solutions for large-scale projects, along with quicker turnaround times.

Electrostatic painting

The processes we can apply for electrostatic painting include a vertical line for multi-metal application of lacquer, with a passivation process to increase adhesion. This allows us to offer a high-quality, durable finishing for a wide range of materials, including steel, galvanized steel, stainless steel, and aluminum.

With a maximum height of 2000 mm for parts, a maximum length of 6000 mm, and a maximum width of 1100 mm, we can work with very large pieces and weights of up to 80 kg/m. This ability to perform electrostatic painting makes it possible for us to offer complete solutions for our customers, including everything from cutting and treatment to the final finishing.

At Gamelsa we can also perform liquid painting projects, using our 2 painting booths and curing oven with plate heat exchanger.

With a maximum length of 10 m, we can work with very large pieces made from a wide range of materials. Our combination of painting booths and curing oven with plate heat exchanger ensures that we can meet our customers’ requirements, with efficient drying and a uniform finish.

Industrial adhesives

At Gamelsa we have extensive experience with adhesive bonding, and we have the capabilities needed to successfully perform this type of work.

The use of adhesive bonding can offer significant advantages, which include uniform distribution to avoid the type of stress points produced by bolts and rivets, greater bonding rigidity compared to rivets and welding, and avoidance of deformation caused by heat or mechanical forces, since the adhesive is not subject to distortion. In addition, industrial adhesives offer a cost-effective way of bonding different materials to each other, while also generating better resistance to corrosive agents.

This process improves isolation, to prevent the entry of corrosive agents such as moisture and air, while also preventing other effects such as galvanic corrosion.

In addition, the use of industrial adhesives reduces weight and the number of components involved, while also giving the product a better appearance with smoother joints. The overall performance of joints can also be improved by using mechanical joining methods to create hybrid joints.

Gamelsa has the capacity to offer its industrial adhesive services for large parts, and during repetitive production runs.
